We are seeking a CEO to provide vision, growth and leadership to this Firm into the future.

We have been retained by one of New South Wales' premier law firms who are proud of their reputation as Greater Sydney’s law firm of choice.

They have offices across four Sydney metropolitan locations which has enabled them to attract high calibre clients that include public companies, SMEs, subsidiaries of multi-nationals, as well as some of Australia’s most recognisable companies and brand names.

The Board of Directors of the Firm seek a Chief Executive Officer who will provide vision, growth and leadership to the Firm.

In an exciting phase for the Firm, the incoming CEO will thrive as an inspiring leader.

Reporting to the Board, you will be supported by their commitment for you to lead the Firm into the future.

You will focus* on profitability, growth and building the culture and service ethos to their clients. You will have a key opportunity to work with the Board to shape long term strategy, then to lead and execute this into the team, refining and innovating that meet the expectations and needs of their clients.

In addition, you will provide leadership and mentoring to the Board and Heads of Business to advance employee engagement and develop a high-performing managerial team.

About You

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (Finance, Law or Business), with an MBA a plus.
• Proven experience as a Chief Executive Officer (or equivalent) within the legal (or other professional services) industry.
• Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing vision.
• Familiarity with diverse business functions such as Operations, HR, Marketing, Risk & Compliance, Finance and IT.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
• Proficient in the use of accounting and financial management software (e.g. Open Practice).
