The Role - As an Administration Assistant at Bennett, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing general administrative support
- Performing relief reception duties
- Managing daily mailroom operations, including opening, processing, distributing, and collecting all internal and external mail and couriers
- Assisting with general telephone enquiries
- Making court lodgment's and attending settlements
- Conducting regulatory database searches and document lodgment's
- Ordering stationery and consumables
- Assisting with IT support
- Supporting the legal administrative team
- Coordinating internal/external events
- Providing support to trial teams at Court when required
- Undertaking additional ad-hoc tasks and project support as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum Year 12 High School education
Experience
- Prior experience in an administrative role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications
- Experience with large job photocopying equipment
Skills and Competencies
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Strong administration skills – organised, thorough, systems-oriented with attention to detail
- Ability to create a positive impression with a professional and courteous manner
- Proactive, punctual, and reliable
- Well-presented with excellent stakeholder/client management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of filing systems and processes
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to prioritise work
- Adaptable to change
