Aitken Legal Special Counsel, Hamish Procter, has over 12 years’ experience working as an Employment Lawyer acting only for Employers.

Hamish is recognised as an Accredited Specialist in Workplace Relations in both Queensland and Victoria, and advises clients about the legal risks arising pre-employment, during employment and following the termination of employment. He helps clients develop and implement practical strategies for managing those risks and obtaining good commercial outcomes for their business.  He also has extensive experience in representing clients in unfair dismissal and general protection claims, as well as other employment law related litigation.

Hamish has undertaken advanced training for workplace investigations, including a Certificate IV in Government Investigations, and frequently conducts workplace investigations.
