Just when you thought you could feel comfortable again about managing your casual workforce, the High Court and Fair Work Commission have more to say.

Presented by Professor Andrew Stewart, this session will:

  • Recap the changes to the Fair Work Act on the definition and regulation of casual employment
  • Remind you of your casual conversion obligations
  • Discuss the High Court’s 4 August decision in Workpac v Rossato, one of the key cases that prompted the recent amendments
  • Outline the implications of the Commission’s review of casual terms in Awards, and what it might tell us about how the new legislation is going to be interpreted and applied

The session is a must for all people managers.
