Until my retirement, I worked with organisations to help them to improve their people management expertise and success. If you are looking for a consultant in any of the below areas, I am happy to recommend excellent colleagues with whom I’ve worked over the years.

Much of my management consulting work was with Australian law firms, as I worked in the legal sector for more than 25 years. I also was engaged to work with other private sector organisations and with not-for-profits.

I enjoyed helping organisations create motivating work environments where staff are happy, engaged and productive. I provided assistance with projects, problem solving, people management skills development, facilitation and organisational development.

My work as a conference presenter spanned most sectors, and I relished the opportunity to work with conference organisers to design practical and engaging people management focussed workshops and conference papers (eg how to give feedback, how to create the motivating workplace, how to influence, get better at recruitment, attracting and retaining great people, how to receive feedback, the workplace of the future…)

I also ran inhouse workshops for organisations on topics such as preventing sexual harassment, developing a positive work culture, the nuts and bolts of attracting and retaining great people and how to have more fun at work.

My facilitation work included board planning meetings, staff development days, team business planning and organisational planning. I worked in both the profit and not-for-profit sectors.

My honourary work has included various elected and volunteer positions at the Law Council of Australia (over a 20 year time span), being a founder of the Victorian Women Lawyers Association, a founder of the Australasian Legal Management Association (ALPMA) and a founder of HR Minds. I am a life member of the Law Council of Australia, Legal Practice Section and the inaugural life member of ALPMA.
