Cathy Reynolds
Chief Operations Officer | McInnes Wilson Lawyers
Cathy has been employed in legal management roles for the majority of her 20+ years working within the profession. Cathy deferred her studies and relocated from her first home in Northern Ireland at 19 on a temporary visa and landed a temp role working as Accounts Junior in a local Brisbane Law Firm. She subsequently made her home and started her family in Brisbane (Turrbal and Jagera Country).
This began her early career path in legal accounts and finance management and laid a solid platform for the transition into broader general management roles with a focus on strategy and culture and more recently into Operations in her current role at McInnes Wilson Lawyers. Cathy approaches leadership with a focus on trust and relationships, supported by knowledge derived from real data and ongoing learning and with a healthy respect for creativity in finding solutions.
Cathy considers her most important role in the team to be supporting and enabling every member to contribute and to be happy being their best.
A Mum of two teenage girls, her down time is largely spent on supporting their activities (taxi Mum) and dreaming about a time with adult children.
