March Forward: From Promises to Progress

To mark International Women's Day, we invite you to join your ALPMA colleagues for a thought-provoking discussion with our experienced panel of legal, financial and negotiation experts, facilitated by Ann-Maree David of the College of Law. They will delve into the patterns of women’s financial inclusion across the legal profession and society generally and explore ways women can be provided with equal opportunity to build their capabilities and strengthen their capacity to learn, earn and lead.

Thirty years ago, the world committed to a bold vision for gender equality through the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action. Since 1995, we’ve seen women break barriers, reshape policies, and ignite movements worldwide. Yet, despite these strides, the promises of Beijing remain largely unfulfilled for millions of women worldwide. Systemic inequalities entrenched socio-cultural norms mean we are simply not where we should be. In every corner of the globe, women and girls face barriers that prevent them from reaching their full potential. Together we can address the challenges and spark ideas for solutions.

It's time to turn promises into progress.

Light lunch provided.

Author | Personal Transformation Strategist | Negotiation Specialist

Business is more than making deals; it’s about creating genuine value, building meaningful relationships, and growing in a sustainable way. This belief lies at the core of what I do, especially for businesses driven by purpose and vision.

With over 17 years in finance—from generating value for major corporates to working with leaders as a negotiation consultant—I’ve learned that negotiation is about more than skill; it’s about how you show up, lead, and create impact.

As a Non-Exec Board Director and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, I understand the challenges of strategic business growth.

I work alongside you to navigate negotiation, gain strategic insight, and grow as a leader, unlocking your business’s true potential.
